I'm running a Luxman PD284 with the tonearm rewired internally with some Cardas cable bought from Croak a while back. After the rewiring exercise, I replaced the AT91 cartridge with an AT-VM95E, and the tonearm cable from the turntable to my ECP1 phono stage with some Mogami 2549 microphone cable.
These upgrades have, to my ears, vastly improved the overall sound quality.
Question:- Could I expect a substantial improvement upgrading to the ML stylus at R3k, or a another cartridge altogether?
It's an itch that I'm considering scratching........
