I have been separated from my hi-fi for more that 3 months now... and "No" I'm not incarcerated (although cruel and unusual....)! I'm looking for some speakers to tie me over in the interim. I'm considering the Q Acoustics 3020i which is currently on sale for $300 including shipping and QED XT speaker cable (2m pair). The English Walnut finish looks great and appeases the WAF. Many other speakers at this price point (up to $500) have fallen by the wayside due to the dreaded WAF. There does not seem to be a local dealer, so an audition is unlikely. Reckless to say the least...
A local pair of Monitor Audio Radius 225's for $200 has also caught my attention. The possibility exist that they could be used as surrounds once united with my system.
Any thoughts, advice and experience with these speakers, please share. I might be suffering from analysis paralyses at this stage.
