SONY D-250 DISCMAN Battery

Hi guys,

I found a SONY D-250 today. An awesome unit with a metal frame and really just a cool item.

Unfortunately it didn't come with a battery or power supply. From what I have found from research, it needs a 9v power supply. I have two questions regarding this:

1. Does anyone know where I could get a battery for it?
2. If I have a 9v power supply, would I need a battery inserted for the unit to get power?
