Hi all, recently bought a new tv cabinet with space for the receiver/centre speaker/console under the tv. After installing everything today, I realised the space is smaller than originally anticipated so I'm a bit concerned about heat in the receiver. I touched the top with testing today while playing music at fairly high volume (2 floor standers, set to small - so the 2 active subs are taking some load off the amp) and it was hot enough not to be able to keep my hand on the amp. It didn't however feel like too much heat is getting trapped in the cabinet though however not as good as on top of a table for example.

Any ideas? Would a Denon AVR have heat protection that would give me an indication if it is overheating?
