Yet another what projector thread :whistler:
I need help in selecting a home theater projector (1080p) that will work with my living room dimensions.
Basically I can accommodate a 100" max pull down screen (else height of the screen becomes a problem).
The ideal projector placement will be against the rear wall, making the distance from lens to screen 5m. So effectively I'm looking for something supporting a throw ratio of 2.3 (Distance:Width).
I'm really keen on HD50, but that max throw distance on a 100" screen is 4.6m - and that additional 40cm will allow for an aesthetic install.
My budget is in the HD50 price range (+-20k)
Can you suggest a projector similar in range to the HD50, that meets the above requirements ?
