Hi All,
I have an Ortofon 320 stylus. It has a stylus guard that I'd rather leave in place when setting up my tonearm weight. When in use and not in use, it is in the same vertical location on the stylus, either above the stylus or covering it. My concern is that if I leave it engaged when I balance the tonearm, the effective weight might be different than when the stylus is being used. Anyone with input or experience, please? Thanks
Also, any tips on measuring or knowing that the tonearm is 100% horizontal before adding the tracking weight? Thanks
