Imagine my surprise to learn that with the help of a 3rd party patcher it is now possible to update any old Mac made from 2008 onwards to a fully functional version of the latest macOS, in spite of what Apple says.

Yes, it is true. I did it this weekend on my ancient mid-2012 13" MacBook Pro. She's now running Monterey and is 100% functional. Read more here.
