My subwoofer in my AVR setup is playing me a nice little humming tone, when I disconnect its earth connection it is nice and quiet but not too safe I guess.
I have unplugged a couple of appliances through the house and no luck yet, so the question is: Is there any type of filtering solution that one can buy to reduce that line noise, or any of the DIY okes on here that might have a trick or two that they can assemble? I see that clearline has a multiplug extension lead with filtering, but at +- R3000 it must be damn good.
