No iPhones for bad guys In movies

I find it funny that no villains in movies are allowed to use iPhones, but today just rewatched London has fallen and noticed the main villain using a macbook.So does this only apply strictly to iPhones? if so I think its kinda lame ,afterall the best characters are always the bad guys .
What's your thoughts?
