I removed it and cleaned it up thinking of reusing it but the cleaning process removed the color bands and when bending the legs a bit to match the holes again, one leg felt a bit less firm than the other. So I will rather replace it with a new resistor. Resistor question: The schematic says a 1/4watt resistor. Can I go 1/2watt to get a closer physical size match to the old ones to try and let it look original or must I rather stick to 1/4watt.
