Despite a howling South Easter I managed to get a first coat on today... Lenco B52 plinth revamp - spraying the bottom board and the top of the plinth Was quite a mission to get to this step... Let's recap:

Strip the old plinth of its plastic wood veneer
wrap the chipboard plinth with some meranti
Filler the top chipboard and add a radius to the meranti
add bracing (22mm MDF) to the plinth
cut a bottom board and give it a 5mm chamfer all round
drill the bottom board and the plinth to take rumper(sic) nuts for 6mm bolts
Seal the bottom board and the top with 50/50 woodglue and water mix
Sand down to fine
reseal difficult bits (cut and routered edges)
Sand down to fine
Mask
Spray :)
