A friend of mine was given a Kindle Fire a few Xmases ago. The battery has now given up the ghost and I have phoned all the usual suspects like Incredible Connection, Computer Mania, The Apple Doctor etc and nobody seems to carry replacements. Does anyone know how I can get the battery replaced. It seems a real waste to throw a perfectly good piece of electronics away just because of a battery. I have previously tried to order a battery for my iPod from Loot or one of those online sites. They took my order and money and literally a minute later sent me a message to say that they may not import batteries as they are not allowed on flights. Then took over a week to refund my money. Any assistance would be appreciated.
