Currently I am using a Mecer pure sine wave UPS (800W) as feed for my audio and video equipment, but it charges the 2x 100Ah batteries too slow, having a mere 1 Amp charger, thus I run out of battery power with Eskom's regular cuts. The persistent alarms whenever power is cut also drives me mad.

I am contemplating purchasing an inverter/charger and move it to the garage and install a dedicated power line from there to the equipment.

My knowledge on the subject lacks, so I seek advice please. I see the below units which seem to both have the attributes I am looking for, but do not understand in particular the huge price difference. The Vision unit seemingly even allows for solar panels to be connected, while the Victron does not.

Advise me please
