I think this is a topic for another thread. Not too much to tell right now anyway - need to do more experimintation before I publish details.
All I will say for now is that I have been known to lay some fibreglass over a mold once in a while. I unfortunately don't have space for a lathe in my place otherwise things might go a little faster on the mold side.
