[QUOTE="Mike M, post: 56966, member: 766"] Thanks for all the well intended comments, but I see where this post is going. My intension is simply to try (not buy) other speaker cable options. If I hear a noticible difference, then I will know I am on the right track. If no noticible differnce (for the good) I move on. Why is that so difficult to understand and accept ??? Unfortunately it seems that all Capetonians have gone wireless :) I also find it quite interesting that people ( who have never seen nor heard my setup ) poo poo my acquantance's (who has seen and heard my system on more than one occasion and has made other valuable suggestion that have worked out for the good) suggestion to TRY different cables because he can't possibly know my setup well enough, but then go on to make their own recommendations ;) ;D ;D. BTW, Although proberbly more could be done (like in most setups) I have spent a fair amount of time and energy on room treatment, speaker placement and other tweeks recommended by forum members (for which I am very grateful) and set out in Jim Smith's book "Get Better Sound".
