This morning, while carrying an Irish load, I dropped my trusty Fluke from a height of about 1m
onto the tiled kitchen floor.
When I switched it on, the display comes on for about 1 second, then goes blank. Every time.
:sd: :sd: :sd:
I opened it up, checked and cleaned the rotary selection wheel, checked (removed and cleaned) the LCD display,
checked and cleaned the battery connectors, fitted a new battery, sprayed it with switch cleaner, gently brushed everything
with a soft toothbrush, used a fine needle to "comb" between the IC legs in order to either remove dirt causing an issue, or IC legs bent and touching.
Nothing worked. :walled:
Does anyone have any other suggestions that I can try? Before I start crying?
