Just want to get an idea of how reliable these new decoders are.
Bought one yesterday, and went through the setup wizard without issues. But after reboot (with packages linked and activated), the screen goes blank immediately (only the bootup and DStv loading indicators appear). Viewing via the AV cable works.
The DStv live chat agent referred me to a service center, who in turn reckons I should rather ask for a replacement (it was bought at PnP).
Is this a known issue with these decoders? Also, is it possible to transfer recordings between decoders?
