I'll then work from there to improve in time. I'd be interested in understanding the impact of the different changes. Like removing the spings, taping the arm etc. All of which I can only fully assess if I have the deck in a good working order first. </p><p>But please keep me posted as I might just be ready to upgrade an arm if you find a spare. I'm not planning to spend big money on it and if I do, it will typically be a diy effort, apart from the hardware that I can't make myself. </p><p></p><p>For now I want to finish and commission the Geco phono and build it and its 40VA transformer into the plinth.
