AVR = audio/video receiver AVC = audio/video controller Terrestrial radio stations broadcasting on am/fm only are becoming much rarer. In the next 10 years, no station will be able to run a financially feasible business by only drawing an am/fm audience as advertisers will demand broader exposure. https://variety.com/2021/music/news/radio-signal-fading-streaming-1234904387/ If you have an amp that can access the internet or allows "casting" (i.e. Airplay or Bluetooth), using an app like Radio Garden (http://radio.garden/settings) allows to you access radio stations from around the world. Even my 76 year old father in law has stashed his tuner in storage and is now listening to radio via an ipad and TuneIN app - and he is the least tech savvy individual that I know.
