We had been looking into getting a router to work with a 3G USB modem and tried a Billion router at first but that didnt end up working with the 8ta sim.
Ended up returning the Billion unit and bought the D-Link 2750U router from Telkom and using it with the Huawei E303 3G dongle and 8ta sim on the 60+60 gig package.
Im finding that the 3G signal gets connected but then after a while the light on the USB modem starts flashing because its lost signal. Once I swtich off and switch it back on the signal connects again. We tried using the USB modem directly on the laptop and it seems to work fine with full 5 bar signals.
Has anyone had a similar problem with this setup or with 8ta itself?
