I need some expert advice please. I am just a DIY but no electronics expert. (Probably just know enough to be dangerous)
Anyway- I want to rebuild cross overs for my Dali 450. High power resistors almost set the board on fire and I was hoping to replace like for like, and so came across company in Denmark that said they have the exact components- the Bennic Ceramic wire wound resistors.
Ordered paid and delivered. But instead of 5.6ohm at 20W (5R6J) they sent me 2 x 10W 2R7J = 2.7ohm, But series these two will surely not deliver the same result as one? Or is it not that critical?
Also -in the part number, W22RJ and 22RG- (both 10W) what is different?
