You know not a day goes by without me reading of blown HDMI boards and HDMI not working.
I have never ever had an issue because I turn all the equipment off and unplug when connecting HDMI cables (anoying but nescessary), it really is both a useful but fragile technology. Therefore I feel this is the correct way to do it.
I often wonder if each failure I hear of is really is the manufacturer fault or just a quirk of the technology?
Does anybody know technically if it is supposed to be hot plug and play in the specifcation or not?
