Something happened here. I recently acquired a pair of the IQ3 standmounts. Wow, the sound! It is the best I have heard at any price (in which I have audiotioned speakers). Call it synergy or perfect harmony with my ear and music type - but I have never been this excited about speakers. The midrange is torrential, detail in spades, yet no harshness from the metal domes. Pace like a sports car, dynamics are startling, bass beyond the size of the boxes. Imaging is just incredible. These things disappear as point sources. Is this to be expected of the brand? Or am I just lucky? For once, the thought of not upgrading anymore has crossed my mind. What are your experiences?
