If I may...
Recently I bought a set of B&W DM603 Series 2 loudspeakers which I enjoy immensely. Unfortunately the cabinets have a wee bit of damage at the bases.
The MDF suffered a bit of water damage and caused it to swell up and "tear" open. How can this be repaired or at least treated?
I have tried to source new "woodgrain" vinyl but it seems futile to get the specific material here in Afrika. Also given some thought about veneering the cabs but that will blow my current budget.
Overall they do not look that bad it is just that such small niggles bothers me endlessly.
