Hi Guys.
A while ago I decided to restore a set of B&O Speakers my Grandfather bought in the late 60's/early 70's. After a whole lot of surfing I stumbled upon this VERY informative site and soon realised I am completely out of my depth.
Now I am not a plank but this will be my first attempt at AV DIY so your advice and assistance will go a long way in helping me to restore these beauties.
So, as you can see below, I have two B&O Beovox 2400's (oddly, one is Type 6224 and the other Type 6214) and a set of Beovox 901's.
Initially my idea was to install new drivers and cross-overs, but since the 2400's differ slightly it seems that some alterations has to be done. The cabinet's are still in great shape so I want to change as little as possible for fear of f-ing it up.
I was also thinking of using the 901's in a surround sound setup. I did not open them yet since I do not want to dent the grill or mess up the veneer.
Does anyone have any ideas for me? What is a good starting point?
EDIT...
