Having soundproofed many vehicles in the past just a word of advice Bitumen, aluminum foil backed sheets are not going to do much for decreasing road noise. Their main purpose is to dampen panels and treat vibrations. You will need to use these sheets in conjunction with open cell foam sheets...

In all honesty the Monitor Audio's will likely be easier to sell as most buy with their eyes and not their ears But...if the seller is willing to let you demo the speakers first then perhaps take your amp along and see if you like the combination before committing

Having owned both the BR6's and the Evo30's i can say with confidence that the Evo's for me were the better speakers Solidly made cabinets and well finished. Smooth laid back british sound. They do need a fair bit of power to perform at their best Very similar sounding to the Monitor Audio...
