    Thanks Goneten, no over exaggerating, no wide room with Sub Woofer. I just tried a different CD (Chris Rea/ Road to Hell) and the bass sounds better and the sound "fuller".     Room the same but I replaced my ancient Blaupunkt amp (Imported from Germany) and Pioneer turntable with a "modern" system. Onkyo 502 amp with dvd/ cd player. I think the speakers are not up to scratch but not sure. I had no budget left after buying the above in one go and settled on speakers...

    Received a tip from someone that works pretty well. For speaker insulation buy the rubber mesh thingy that you put in the boot of your car to stop things from sliding around cut n put a piece on the speaker stand. Damps vibration and stops speakers from siding. But then again, Im at the bottom...
