Hi Vince, the 802s were for stereo only and I had few different brands for HT until i bought a complete elac HT speaker system which is absolutely amazing.

At the moment i think there are only 3 brands out there that have 11 channels driven and the rest of them will require a 2 channel power amplifier to complete the 7.2.4. So far i know the Anthem 1120, the integra 70.6  and the denon 6300, not sure if there's any other out there.

Thanks guys, it appears to be a faulty valve and i managed to pin point the faulty 1 by doing the pencil trick.

No hum but its very loud for about 5 to 10 seconds when amp is switched off.

Hi gents, I am having a problem with 1 of my snappers, its making a scratchy sound now and again and when you touch it while playing you can hear it on the speaker. Any idea what is causing that. Any assistance will be highly appreciated. Regards Clive
