Some forumites have shown keen interest (off-line) in the Dinafrips Ares ii I intend advertising....but I find it difficult to maybe price it " appropriately" as per the expectations informed by historical sales... The unit is less than a year old and I am the first owner with all paperwork...

I have an Ares II (bought last year as the first owner with original packaging and invoices) that is currently doing TV job and feel that such an application is a waste (overkill)....will be advertising it in the very near future but enquiries are welcome. On the audio side of things, this DAC...

Yep. The Yamaha CD 3000 has a built in dac and which was connected to the Cambridge Audio CXN used as a streamer....

I've managed to burn in the Denafrips Ares II for about 200 hours and can confidently confirm that it is sonically better than The Musical Fidelity M1DAC and the Cambridge Audio DAC Magic. The tests were done on the Yamaha AS-3000/cd-3000 and Opera Consonance Valve preamp/Bryston 4B SST...
