I tried new cables from Rendo's.
Still pink.
Luckily my local ( Rendo's Audio ) were very kind and lent (gave) me a RJ45 to serial cable.

Switching the tv off on and without unplugging and plugging in the cable, keeps it pink.
Is there a software upgrade i can do or a more permanent solution?
Its also strange to me that the sinotec never nad such a problem.

I recently purchased a Samsung 46" led to replace my aging sinotec 42" hd
When i power the tv on, which uses the rotel as a source, the screen has a pink tinge.
The only way to remove it is to pull the hd cable out of the tv and plug it into another hd inout on the tv.
