House and Car insurance Premium Split

I have my insurance split between Santam & Naked insurance. While I feel Santam are good and when I had to claim, the process was fairly simple and straight forward, I do feel their prices have been on the higher side at times. I have had to claim with Naked and had no problems either, so not...

    Vacuum cleaner recommendations

So at work a couple of years back they had the Henry vacuum cleaner, it seemed to work really well and was on the quieter side which was great for an office. Around 2 years ago I purchased the Siemens Q5 Silent Extreme vacuum and I love it! You can extend the warranty on the motor to 10 years...

Inverter blending power is upsetting the Smeg Hob

Is the hob perhaps connected to the non-essentials output of the inverter?

    Loudness normalisation for window

Exactly! Pretty much the same story with me, I get a look and sometimes an "Its loud" during the action scenes in movies and series and reaching for the remote to adjust the volume up and down the whole time is a bit ridiculous. Audio is going from a media PC to my MiniDSP via HDMI so not a...

    Loudness normalisation for window

Hey all, So I'm hoping someone here is able to help me out. A lot of content on Netflix has some loud peaks and then the talking is rather soft. When I had an AVR it use to have a normalisation feature which was useful for these situations, although I no longer have one so am hoping there...

    Lithium batteries for alarm special

So I'd like to get these for my Roll up garage door motors (Centurion RDO), the motors are 24v so I'd need 4 in total for both motors (2 motors, close to each other). However, they only charge at 300ma, so I'm wondering what the best way to get a slightly quicker charger would be. Ideally if I...

    Solar inverter & audio

I think it will all depend on the equipment you are running and obviously the levels you're playing the music or watching at. Class D vs Class AB vs Class A would all affect the idle load. That goes for sub and speakers.

    Screws for drivers

Do you have pictures of what the threads look like? I'd also be keen to see where one can find such screws for wood. Sent from my OnePlus 9RT 5G using Tapatalk

    Screws for drivers

Those like like the "m" threaded screws, like m4 screws and not ones for wood. Sent from my OnePlus 9RT 5G using Tapatalk

    Decent RCA plugs locally?

Makes even more sense to go this route then, especially if I'm going to DIY and solder them myself. Sent from my OnePlus 9RT 5G using Tapatalk

    Decent RCA plugs locally?

I was going to get this: https://www.jaycor.co.za/product/rg59u-3g-hd-sdi-hi-flex/ Belden 1505F, but wondering about getting the Mogami 2497 and just being done with it for interconnects. I do have some Belden 1505F somewhere from a few years ago, but no clue where it is or where to start...

    Decent RCA plugs locally?

Thanks, will speak to Max otherwise go for the Neutrik ones. Then get some Belden cable from Jaycor to complete it. Maybe try some cable from max too as a comparison. Sent from my OnePlus 9RT 5G using Tapatalk

    Decent RCA plugs locally?

Hey all, So I'd like to make some RCA interconnects myself, although I now need to source some decent RCA plugs to terminate the cable with. What is available locally which is reasonable and won't break the bank? I'm not even sure where to start looking. I'd prefer plugs where I can solder...
