    I have done mine like that, just a little away from the wall on stands , slightly toed in and the bass is incredible. I agree with you there

    Oh okay, well this isn't the first instance of me hearing this. I suppose it couldn't hurt to get some quotations to see whether repairs are the way to go. Agree on those plugs in this case

    Those Ellies surge protector plugs are useful but won't help if you get a direct hit. I simply unplug with each storm. Good luck, I hope your insurance company replaces the lot for you.

    I know what you mean, some bookshelves contrary to their size just sing better the more power you feed them. I have a set of Mission's that just blow me away everytime.
