Thanks for the input :D Well, I've looked all over and can't find a short component cable... the shortest was 2m. I'd like a 1m cable though, as I want 1 cable from the DVD to the AMP and another from the AMP to the TV. AR do make them, a 3-ft component cable - AP090. I just need to find them...

I'd go for the Marantz combo... I went for the SR-5500 and DV4500 and am very happy with it. The Marantz/B&W combo should sound good too... which did you preer when you demo'd? I haven't seen any reviews on the DV-6600 either... its quite new.

Hmmm... I'd like to get a simple black case (maybe with some silver trim). Another thing I'm wondering is a about using the PC with the TV as a sencond monitor. Can a normal gfx card with TV out and dual monitor support do this? I'd like to run the PCs primary display as say 1280x1024 (LCD)...
