    50" plasma, samsung or panasonic.

So you rate the Hitachis? Ive seen a few of them , but never bothered. Plasma instead of LCD. Mainly cause of the response time during gaming. You also don't get backlight "problems" with a plasma. Saw the new range of samsung 50" plasma yesterday. Great features. 24p, 100hz motionflow. okay...

    50" plasma, samsung or panasonic.

    50" plasma, samsung or panasonic.

Ive allready looked at both. The Samsung seems to be the one to go for Nice black levels. The panny doesn't seem to bad. its a little bit cheaper. I suppose i should just toss a coin. :) unf both are only 720p so you don't get 24p.

Unexplained sub drone, and receiver cut out.

Will try and post some over the weekend Skinny :) . This "clipping" happened at 0db. normal dvd viewing is -10db. As i said earlier, the air round the receiver is not hot at all so could it really be a vent prob?

Unexplained sub drone, and receiver cut out.

Thank you Alphabet. I also hope that the sub is not going, but at least it only a few months old. I will unplug the DVD players as suggested. I just hate having to have so many 2 prong plugs(stupid tech imo) on one source, and you never seem to have enough points. :D As for the sound, -10db...
