Hi everyone
I've received the MARS buffer today ( changed from 6SN7 to 6922 tube version which I accepted)
Case closed. Thanks for all the concern & assistance.
Only if you can receive it.
I don’t know other people’s experience, but I’m still waiting for the Mars 6SN7 buffer I ordered & paid at the Sep 2020.
Yes, you read it right, it will be 2 years of waiting at this month end.
Nothing strange here
The environmental noise level usually higher in the daytime
And much lower in late night
The lower noise level is the easier you hear more details.
I suggest you download a sound pressure measurement App
Measure it and see the difference between the day and late night time.
This is a very special amp.
Not many class A single ended amp available, this is one of the the few.
Beautifully designed and made at a affordable price. ( compared to Pass Lab , Krell )
Excellent buy, Stan
A friend of mine bought one AM452 for his budget system decades ago.
But at the time, I was aiming the Proton AM455 Pro that I couldn't afford.
now I still wish to own one, but I just couldn't find one.
I'm so shocked and sad.
He was a gentleman and a passionate audiophile, very helpful and generous to share his knowledge, we used to enjoy chatting on certain topic,
(in my case, mini monitor & Theta dac).
