Note 10 as a source

My question to the boffins out there. Can the Samsung note 10 (or for that matter another high-end phone) be used as a viable/decent/good/excellent source to play streamed music? In my case I sometimes use it to stream tidal in my home  office via a USB adapter +USB cable>dacmamic+>Exclame150>dynaudio emit20. Sound quality is pretty good. Would say a lumin d2 or a quality dac be a  better choice for a future  upgrade? Thanks
Ps going to the audio show tomorrow and don't want to make an impulsive or uninformed buy.
