Onkyo RZ830 auto volume when using airplay

Hi guys hope everyone is enjoying their systems, I am having a rather interesting issue with my ai play and my onlyo RZ830 amp whenever I use my Apple phone to playback music of Tidal she randomly decides to decrease the volume however the volume dial is not changed when atleast whenever I check. A few mins later it increases it this can happen on the same song I checked the settings for night mode but it?s disabled I am starting to think there is a tokoloshi/or a ghost busy increasing the volume is there anyone having a similar issue or had one historically  any help would be greatly appreciated
