1980s Audio travellers may remember him ,along with James Michael Hughes,David Prakel and others in mainly Paul Benson's and later Keith Howard's  Hi Fi Answers. Proponent of the Linn Naim axis but iirc also one of the first to leave that cult.

Ugh... personally responsible for fanning the bloody breakup of Yugoslavia by recognising unilateral and unconstitutional declaration of independence by Slovenia and Croatia, unsupported by any of the western allies.

And from my younger days - RIP Brian Cant (UK pre-school TV presenter and the voice of Trumpton and Camberwick Green).  Immortalised by HMHB at their referncing best with the line 'We've had Cant conformity since 1966, and now rebellion's in the air in the shape of flying bricks' (Trumpton Riots)
