I have one of these, a Technics SU-C04. Use it with my old Pioneer turntable and it has an Aux input so takes a CD player quite well. Mine however wont go over halfway in volume, soon as you near halfway you hear a click as if a relay is switching off and silence, turn the volume down slightly and you might hear the click again and the sound is back. Play it under this point though and it'll play fine for hours..
The inner bits, filthy yes I know, I rescued it from someones garage. What I did notice is the one fuse looks blown but isnt according to my multimeter but has some burn marks inside the glass. Says its a 250v T1A on the fuse? I'll try get a replacement from Yebo tommorow to test but I doubt it is that. The offending item that clicks is the black item left of the two big caps.
Any ideas?
