Quick Timber question...

Will there be massive sonic difference if I use 16mm pressboard(chipboard) instead of 16mm MDF for small bookshelf speakers? I will be bracing it internally with 18mm MDF though. I found some melamine pressboard with this new type of thick glossed vinyl (or what ever it is) and would like to build some bookshelf speakers from some parts I have lying around...
I've only built speakers from MDF and I trust the sound quality it produces.
