Moving to a new open plan office: shared desks, lots of lighties making noise and wittering, many neighbouring/desks/pods/ecosystems/managerial type folk. So need a pair of cans. Must block out outside sound - but no noise cancellers (hate the sound and idea of another amplifier inside), budget up to R5000, will be driven by phone/mac/maybe ipod at work but at home will whip up a dedicated valve thingummybobbsy, portability? maybe - like the idea of being able to walk around in public with them without looking like a lost astronaut. Know nothing about cans. So please any suggestions from the cognesceti will be greatly appreciated.....?
