The mom and pop business me and my wife Meegan have - The Farrier Shop - sponsor most of the Blacksmithing competitions we have up here in Jozie and had the priviledge of attending this particular Forge Day up in Nelspruit this past weekend at the farm Pondarosa Ranch of Sean Eggerglusz in Hermansburg
The weather was glorius and the competition tough as usual. The judges being Robbie Miller from Cape Town and previous SA team Farrier at The Calgary Stampede in Canada and Johan Van der Merwe and 30 year veteran of this wonderful art of Blacksmithing
The competition included Novice, Intermediate and Open all having to do a plating class, shoe building and a Draught Horse shoe which happened to be Seans own Friesan - Samson
