Blood Money. Interesting to see what different people will do when money is involved.

3 of the Fast & Furious that etv has been showing. Tokyo Drift was disappointing, just not as good as I'd remembered it from back in the day.  I just like Vin Diesel though, that look, the facial expression.

This weekend is FF6 which is the prequel to FF3 (thus Han was still alive in 4 and 5.). The Jason Statham era begins....Vin, The Rock and Statham, better than an Expendables movie for action and sheer dumbness!

Valerian and the city of a thousand planets.
Poor acting, barely there story but a CGI visual treat.

Watched FF6 on Netflix recently, seriously, so bad, no words......

Statham was probably the best thing about the movie.

I know the car stunts are supposed to be a bit outlandish, but reeeeallly?   :???:

If Jason Statham is in it and its an action movie - expect really outlandish dumb stunts.

Even FF films pale in comparison to Crank and the last two Transporter movies.  But for the ultimate dumb but enjoyable - Pacific Rim, described best as 'the movie your 12 yr old self wanted to make'.  Giant robots? check, giant monsters? check, Japanese chick who can do martial arts? check, giant robot fighting with a sword? check.

No real plot to speak of, just lots of robot fights....

Jason Statham in Spy was freaking hilarious.

Watched "The Hitman's Bodyguard". A reasonably promising premise for a fun, brainless high action flick with an awesome cast (Ryan Reynolds, Gary Oldman, Samuel L Jackson, Salma Hayek and even a little Richard E Grant) was let down by shitty directing. Basically a buddy movie, but the incessant bickering between Reynolds and Jackson's character was not edgy and funny, it was just tedious. Poor pacing, no real tension.

Watch it if you want to see some phenomenal stunt driving. The rest is just pants.
