So this afternoon I decided to relax a bit by doing some fine woodwork. The item I had in mind to make was a teak handel for a Sheffield knife.
Using a very sharp carving knife I was busy to make a recess for the tang when the darn knife slipped and carved a deep gash through my left thumb.
Mother it hurts!! :-[
Fortunately no digits lost but nearly. Now I feel unable to do anything, scared I might bump the thumb against something.
