Is there anyway to stop the hum/ground loop that develops when linking a PC to a DAC via USB?
Especially apparent during quieter sections of music at lower volumes, even more so when you start to hear the harddrive chatter when the HDD reads from a platter.
I'm hoping for a cheapie solution that doesn't involve power conditioning or other relatively expensive ways of solving the problem.
