I'm looking at buying a used Marantz DV7600 DVD/SACD purely for the upsampling to 720p on my plasma. It's a few years old and only has HDMI 1.1 ... do you think this will pose any problem at all?
I've heard people saying buying any component under HDMI 1.3 is a waste and obsolete - but am I right in saying that 1.1 is all you'll actually need for a DVD player?
