Oh my. This is really rather nice.

I get country, americana (Rev Peyton is the first comparative - ((I think it's the slide guitar & banjo)) that springs to mind) & blues.

Thank you for sharing.

This was all the rage with Linnies at some point.  Itís a Linn record.  I wasnít a big fan but today for the first time itís growing on me. Very well recorded 80s pop, but without a peppy hit tune.

Not that far from the likes of Simple Minds at their more depressed.  Dare I say Japan?

Great album (their second many years later was as well), the Linn thing was definitely a double edged sword for them.  They wanted to sound great and they got that, they also got the sneers for being Ďposh soundingí.

Me, got Felt - Me and a Monkey on the Moon going on, Lawrence at his finest IMHO.  The last Felt album and one of the best.  Overlooked genius but he declared his own genius and agenda far too early.
