Wow what a morning. My business partner and me went to our local Nino?s for our Monday breakfast. As we arrived at the Shopping center we drove into a big commotion. There was an armed robbery at Steers and about 50 people chasing an armed guy down the road. Joined by staff in Steers uniforms and the odd unarmed center security.
On the phone to our local community security guys (CMS) one of the chasers told them exactly where the guy was running to and he was arrested about 2 blocks away. In the pursuit an ADT guard was shot(not sure how serious).
I think this just shows Mr Mbeki that normal people are trying to do something; even risking their own lives in the fight against crime. Lets hope this guy is not out on bail by the end of the day. (May be the he can be cited for some traffic offences sure to keep him locked up for longer
