I need some guidance from our stereo aficionado's on the forum. I would like to replace my current speakers (B&W 684) with something thats a bit more musical. Don't get me wrong, the 684's sounds great but I'm not entirely happy. I have spotted a few options on the 2nd hand market in my budget but wont be able to audition all of them.
Current options:
Monitor Audio S6
Monitor Audio Bronze BX6
Dali Blue 5005
Bentley FS120
And a few Boston's and Polks in the same kinda price bracket. Notable these are all floorstanders.. I haven't really looked at bookshelf's.. like a bit of extra low end. I'm currently using an Onkyo 9155 stereo amp which does not have sub out.
Side note - Will have to sell the B&W's to fund it's replacement.
