A local handyman has been doing house renovations for me over the last two weeks and charges a daily rate.
He's a very nice friendly guy, lives in my street with his wife and kid - I see them all the time in passing and always stop and chat.
On Fridays he volunteers his services for free from 2pm at an old age home doing maintenance (he tells me).
Last Friday he left off working at my place at about 13h30 and today at 13h00... but still charged me his full daily rate for both days.
Am I right to feel a bit "used"? :thinking:
